Yes, it was June 28 last year Big Lindsay died.
I found this somewhere on Les Web, which I think must be Lindsay twittering with his friend Cindy O’Neill.

well…. with sympathy cards there’s always the risk of being TOO late.

Personally I think everyone who knew Lindsay probably deserves their own sympathy card. It’s a bugger, this death thing. But dying way too young, well, that’s a total bastard.

Haha! We were discussing both Lindsay’s sister’s birthday and the death of an acquaintance of mine. I was giving him hell for not getting off his bum to send his sis a card. He was sort of giving it to me for not sending a timely sympathy card to the family of my friend. Later, he said he would give his sister a phone call and send her a card, too. I, on the other hand never did send the sympathy card as it really did get a bit too late to be appropriate. Comically wise, that Lindsay.
